Rotary Gaalaxy provides free ENT surgery for the poor

Rotary Club of Coimbatore Gaalaxy joined hands with Sarvam Institute of ENT & Research for helping the poor and downtrodden patients to get adequate healthcare facilities related to ENT by means of a community service project – “Uyir Osai” (Sound of Life).

The healthcare facilities include consultation, medication and surgery to the needy totally free of cost. This project was inaugurated by Coimbatore Medical College Hospital Dean – Dr.Ashokan and Rotary Zonal Chair for Community Services – Rtn.K.M.Anand on 17th July 2019 at Sarvam Institute of ENT & Research.

Rtn.D.Gunasekar, President, Rotary Club of Coimbatore Gaalaxy and Rtn.J.Premkumar , Project Chairman, Rotary Club of Coimbatore Gaalaxy presided over the function.

Based on the financial background and criticality, the first patient and beneficiary of the project Dhanalakshmi was identified. She received the necessary surgery and it was performed successfully. Saravana Kumar , CEO, Sarvam ENT Hospital updated that in continuation of this, going forward every month, around 2 to 4 poor patients would be shortlisted and identified for ENT surgery and treatment.
