The 4th Edition of Maattram Marathon was held on 14th July, 2019 at Nehru Stadium,where myriad youngsters and Coimbatoreans participated. The event was held between 5.00 a.m. and 9.00 a.m. Dr.C.A.Vasuki, Secretary, Kongunadu Arts and Science College flagged off the marathon.
The Chief Guests of the event were Sujit Kumar, IPS, Superintendent of Police; Charles Borromeo, Arjuna Awardee, Padma Shri awardee, Olympian, Asian Games Gold Medalist (1982); Sripriya Gowrishankar, Director, Best Engineers Pumps Pvt. Ltd. and R.P.Ravichandran, Dist. Sports & Youth Welfare Officer, Coimbatore.
