Nehru College of Aeronautics & Applied Sciences, Kuniamuthur, Coimbatore offers Aircraft Maintenance Engineering licensed course approved by DGCA, New Delhi. In 2018, the institute, commenced a 3 years Diploma program in Aircraft Maintenance Technology approved by Lincoln University, Malaysia and has a tie up with EASA (European Air safety Agency) for modular exams.
The college has been approved as an EASA examination center after Hyderabad in the South On 10th July 2019, EASA modular Exam was conducted in the campus, by a team of EASA examiner Michael Richard Williams from Air Services Training, Scotland, U.K. and Ramesh Pathi, CEO, Hyderabad Institute Of Overseas Studies.
41 students appeared in module 1 (Mathematics), 11 students appeared in module 2 (Physics), in the morning session, 59 students appeared in module 8 (Basic Aerodynamics) in the afternoon session. Students from outstation also appeared for their exams in our center. Once the students pass these modules, their job opportunities will be global.
