KCT offers STEM Programs

Plans to introduce scientific and engineering concepts at an early stage

As a leader in technology education, KCT is working with industry and international institutions to promote and offer Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM ) programs to high school and college students.

KCT will offer the STEM programs for class 5 to 12 students on Saturdays and during holidays. During 2019-20, programs such as Projects for Young Innovators in Science, Applied Electronics for Future Engineers, Computers for Young Achievers, Programming for Future Computer Engineers,  Building engineering models of  bridges, cars, aeroplanes, robots and automated systems  will be offered to high school students in and around Coimbatore.

KCT’s STEM programs for high school students help the schools introduce scientific and engineering concepts at an early stage and challenge the students to look at problem-solving from a very practical point of view.  Schools use KCT’s STEM programs as part of the 5-12 class curricula and facilitate the students to build engineering models over 30 to 40 class periods during the year.

During 2019 -20, more than 400 students at RKV CBSE Secondary School, Kuniyamuthur will attend STEM programs offered by KCT.  Starting June 24th, the students in classes 6 to 8 will work on their first engineering projects at RKV. At the end of the year, they will receive a STEM certificate from KCT.
