Temperature to raise in water scarce Chennai

The plight in Chennai due to heightened water scarcity has caught the attention of the Tamil Nadu media. Various sources have confirmed that the capital of the state is facing huge disturbances in regular life due to water shortage.

Reports states some IT firms have even asked their employees to work from home as there is only little water for the use of employees. In this regard, the Regional Meteorological Centre, Chennai has stated there will be a rise in the usual temperature in the next 24 hours.

The announcement said that in Chennai, Kanchipuram and Thiruvallur, there will be an increase of 2 to 3 degree Celsius.  The lack of water scenario is intense in Chennai that the government has plans to involve railways in the transport of water.
