ICCIC organizes workshop on Quality & Reliability for Business

The Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Coimbatore (ICCIC) and Indian Statistical Institute, Coimbatore (ISI) organized a Workshop on ‘Quality Reliability in Business’ on 26th May 2019 at Coimbatore.

Speaking in the workshop on quality and reliability H. Ramasubramanian, Vice President, R&D Brakes India stressed the need for MSME’s to focus on Quality and reliability. He further added that the customers are able to define their design requirements better than the designers

Roney Simon, MD, Simon and Cailand, Italy highlighted the need for design and development in India for enhancing exports of Engineering and Apparels as a value added product to Europe, for which data based decisions are vital.

Dr. G.Bakthavatsalam, Chairman, KG Group spoke about Indian Innovations and its scale. He also appreciated ISI’s Contribution towards Healthcare Analytics.

A.V.Subramanian – President, Advance Technology Centre (LMW), spoke about Importance of applying statistics to achieve Quality and Reliability in Aerospace Industry

Prasun Das, Associate Dean of ISI, Kolkata highlighted the requirements of Machine Learning through Artificial Intelligence Modeling for Business Process decision making as a future challenge.

Brake pad wear prediction in Automobiles and alert of driver by physical measurements were shown.

Predicting functional scores of poly traumatic accident victims, Development of AI model and also reducing the delays in service Level Agreements in software products were delivered during workshops.
