The Semi Finals of Girls Match-I of the 36th Youth National Basketball Championship was between Kerala and Punjab. Kerala scored 74 pts and defeats Punjab who came close and scored 70 pts.
Kerala was seemingly strong in the first half and established control with 36 pts in the first half while the Northerners fell short of 10 points and scored 26 pts. But in the second half, the Punjabis came strong in the 3rd and 4th quarters but the Keralites took home the victory and entered the finals.
