For the first time in Tamil Nadu, a club being launched exclusively for cat’s in Coimbatore.
The Coimbatore cattery club is affiliated to Alliance of Cat Fanciers(ACF) and a registered one in Tamil Nadu.
The Coimbatore cattery club launched on Sunday May 19th, 2019 at Rotary Club of Coimbatore in Ramanathpuram. Followed by the launch, there was a detail seminar on the different type of cats and it’s breeding. Mr Sudhakar Katikineni, a cat expert and Judge from Bangalore inaugurated the club launch. Cat Breeders, owners and lovers are also participated in the mega launch of the Coimbatore Cattery club. Ms.Annie Carroll the secretary, Reegan, Joint secretary and Pratheeba, Treasure of the club lead this wonderful unique launch for cats.
Pratap, President of the Coimbatore Cattery Club, speaking to media said that, this Cattery club is being launched for the well being of cats and for the cat lovers guidance too. Today there was a display of five cats in the club as part of the inaugural. This club is a registered one with the standard norms and the club main motto is to improvise the standards of growing cats. This club will be a lead and guide for cat lovers and breeders to grow their cats in a healthy way, he said.
The Coimbatore cattery club will organise cat shows and many events on the importance of cats. Cat lovers, breeders and traders from various part of India including various places of TamilNadu took participate in the launch session
