NEET -2019 to be held tomorrow. Know the rules

National Eligibility cum Entrance Test( NEET), the test that will determine the dream of medical and dental course aspirants will be held tomorrow(5.4.2019) at 2.00 p.m. throughout India on a massive level.

Sources say that 15,19,000 students have applied for the test on a National level and it will be held in 154 cities in India. The story so far in Tamil Nadu is that around 1,40,000 have applied in Tamil Nadu while the test will be held in 14 cities.  The test is conducted in 11 languages including English, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, Telugu. Those who have applied in Tamil can write the test in Tamil and in Tamil Nadu itself.

The test begins at 2 p.m. and candidates who enter after 1.30 p.m. will not be allowed to enter the hall. They are expected to be inside by 1.15 p.m. and at 1.30 p.m., hall ticket verification and instructions to candidates will be given. Candidates will have to produce their hall ticket and photo-id proof.

Things candidates shouldn’t bring inside the hall:

Plastic Covers, calculators, pencil box, geometry box, pen, scale, exam pad, eraser, health-band, electronic-gadgets, purse/wallet, mirror, bag, belt, cap, watch, hand-wears, ornaments, food and water bottle.

Dress code and accessories:

Male candidates should come only in short hand shirts and the color should light. If a candidate’s attire would follow a culture and some beliefs, that candidate must inform in prior (before 12.30 p.m.) to his/her respective exam center’s concerned authority.

Shoes are not permitted but slippers and low-heels are allowed. Girls are prohibited from wearing hair-clips, nose-studs and ear-rings
