TN Board Exams released; Here is all you need to know

The much awaited 10th Board Exams have been released and through sources we have learned that among the 12,548 schools in Tamil Nadu, 6100 schools have secured 100% results of which 99.05% private schools have achieved 100% results while 92.48% Government schools have had that accomplishment.

9,59,618 students (nine lakhs fifty nine thousand six hundred and eighteen )students had appeared  for the exams and 95.20% of them have cleared the exams. 97% of Girls and 93.3% of Boys have emerged triumphant.

Out of the 32 districts in Tamil Nadu, Coimbatore stands 13th with 96.44% of its students clearing the exams.  Our neighboring district Tirupur has a pass percentage of 98.53% and has beaten the other districts in TN  while Vellore has the lowest of all the districts with 89.98%.

An interesting fact is that out of the 4816 physically challenged candidates who appeared for the exam, 4395 have passed, and out of the 152 prisoners, 110 have cleared. It seems the interest on Science among the students is high, as 98.56% of students have cleared it while the same cannot be said with Tamil as only 96.12% have cleared.

From May 2nd onwards, the students can receive the temporary mark sheets from their respective schools. Those who have not cleared the 10th Exams can re-appear from June 14 to 22nd. The results could be seen in : http://tnresults.nic.in
