3rd SIMUN Conf. held at Indian Public School

South Indian Model United Nations (SIMUN) is a UN simulation created with a motto, “to create awareness on world peace and harmony”. In the conferences held by SIMUN, students  and young debaters discuss and share their perspectives and rise as leaders of tomorrow.

This year’s conference was held in The Indian Public School. It is a 3 day conference that began on 12.4.2019 and ends on 14.4.2019. The theme of this year’s conference is  “Uniting Minds, Creating Leaders” wherein SIMUN 2019 seeks to highlight the importance of bringing in young talents their opinions, thoughts, and experiences in such a way that they portray themselves as global citizens and aspire to be leaders to achieve sustainable development.

The conference was inaugurated by Sanjay Kumar IPS, Commissioner of Police, Tirupur

City, the Chief Guest for the inaugural ceremony. The chief guest was felicitated by the Guest of Honour, Ashok Kumar, Chairman and Managing Director of The Indian Public School. The event was presided by the Secretary General,  Sai Atulya Bhaskaran and her team of SIMUN.
