Three motivational speakers; Prof.E.Surya, A.Krishnasamy, Athlete and RJ.Daison of Suriyan FM were the the invited guests and their interaction with the students inspired them in a significant way.

Prof. E.Surya addressed the students and she highlighted the vibrant nature at the same time the volatility of the youthful period of the college-life. “Do you know why great men like Swami Vivekananda and Dr.A.P.J. Abdul Kalam kept saw you, the youngsters, as their beacon of hope?” she asked the students; and said “because you are an energetic force that knows no fear”. She went on to ask the entire student-gathering, how many of them are sure of becoming a successful person in future. To which only two dozen students stood up. She pointed out that though there was a common  opportunity to be used there, only those who tried to stand, distinguished themselves.

She conveyed to the students that though they all have been pure water drops because of being under the wings of their parents till schooling, in college they spread their own wings, become independent and get the option to choose their friends; “ Choose your friends wisely”, she counseled. She wanted them to break away from the friendship of those who restrict one to reach heights in their education and personality.

She wanted them to be proud of their own cultural identity and stand true to it. “Speaking English and wearing Western-Outfits are not the scales to measure a person’s standards or values”, said Surya and she highlighted that majority of Government Job holders in Tamil Nadu are those who are from Tamil medium schools.

Before concluding she listed a few things for the students to follow; she wanted the students to not compare themselves with each other but with their own progress. She wanted them accept the failures and insults and think about their next step. “Even if you have fallen on the ground for 100 times, the land will tell that you are the one who stood up 100 times with confidence” she said and requested them to work with perseverance and confidence.

Athlete Krishnasamy and RJ Daison further inspired the gathering and the students got truly benefited.
