And it is only fitting that the institution honors them in return. In this regard, VLB Janakiammal College of Arts & Science celebrated its 27th Annual Day and Sports Day recently.
Dr. K.Shanmuga Sundaram, Principal, VLBJCAS welcomed the gathering. Mr.N.Surya Kumar, Chairman of VLB Trust delivered the Presidential Address.
In his address he mentioned that the college is marching with excellence on this 27th year K.Vasudevan, HoD of ECS read the annual report for the academic year 2018-2019.
V.Murugesan, HoD of CS introduced the Chief Guest. .J.Parveen Sultana, Professor, Justice Basheer Ahmed Sayeed College for Women was the Chief Guest.
In her address she highlighted the responsibility of the students towards the society. She cited examples from her life and teaching experience.
She encouraged the student community to indulge in various endeavors and insisted to serve for the nation by being good humanitarian and be proud to be an Indian. Students and Staff Members who won in various events were honoured with prizes. G.Suresh, HoD, Tamil proposed the Vote of Thanks.
