City gets first Jawa outlet in Tamilnadu

JAWA  is a motorcycle and moped manufacturer founded in Prague, Czechoslovakia in 1929 by František Janeček,who bought the motorcycle division of Wanderer. The name JAWA was established by concatenating the first letters of Janeček and Wanderer. JAWA motorcycles were introduced in India in the 1950s and they have a cult following to this present day. Coimbatore becomes the first city in Tamilnadu to have a JAWA outlet. At present, there are a total of 125 Jawa dealers across 106 cities. Currently, JAWA is selling 2 motorcycles in India-Classic/Standard 300 and Jawa 42.
