KCT to host Grand Finale of SIH- 2019

Kumaraguru College of Technology (KCT) became one of the nodal centers to host Smart India Hackathon (SIH) 2019- Software Edition which is set to be held on the 2nd and 3rd of March. The event will feature 27 teams comprising of 162 students from different parts of the country. The highlight of the whole event will be PM Narendra Modi interacting with students via Video conference. The theme for SIH 2019 will be Software Edition, where students will work on Robotics & Drones, Renewable Energy, Security, Clean water, Smart vehicles and likewise.

KCT as a nodal center will have student team work on challenges related to Maternal Healthcare & Child malnutrition, Biometric encryption, Automation and Predictive analysis sourced from DI Patna MSME, Human Welfare Association- Varanasi & Shantha Sanofi-Biotech company. Students will be evaluated by technical experts from various companies and AICTE representatives.

Prakash Javadekar, Minister of HRD will announce the start of Smart India Hackathon 2019- Software Edition through video conference across all nodal centers.Prof.Anil Sahasrabudhe, Chairman, AICTE and Anand Deshpande, Chairman & MD, Persistent Systems & Co-chair, Organizing Committee, Smart India Hackathon will interact with all student teams through video conferencing.
