TNAU conducts 39th Convocation

The Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU), Coimbatore conducted its 39th Convocation in the Convocation Hall. Banwarilal Purohit, Governor of Tamil Nadu and the Chancellor of the University; R.Doraikkanu, Minster For Agriculture, TN and the Pro-Chancellor, TNAU; The Chief Guest Kirti Singh, Fellow of National Academy of Agricultural Sciences, New Delhi and N.Kumar, Vice-Chancellor, TNAU graced the occasion with their valuable presence.

N.Kumar delivered the welcome address and presented the report on the academic achievements of the University during the year 2017-18. Banwarilal Purohit declared the convocation open while R.Doraikkanu declared the institution of the Endowments. Following these, the Convocation Address was rendered by Kirti Singh.

The qualified candidates received their B.Sc, M.Sc, Ph.D degrees from the Chancellor. This was followed by the administration of the Pledge by the Chancellor which was taken as a vow by the graduates. The Chancellor then conferred the degrees and dissolved the convocation.
