Internal Complaints Committee (ICC), Sree Narayana Guru College, Coimbatore, conducted an awareness programme on, “Protection against Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace” on21.06.2017, at SNGC. Dr.K.V.Surendran, Principal presided over the function. Kavitha Rajagopal (Adv) was the Chief Guest. “I measure the progress of the community by the degree of progress which women have achieved” She quoted the words of Dr.B.R.Ambedkar and insisted on everyone to keep the laws and rights to be updated for the protection against Sexual Harassment of Women at workplace. Ms.Renu Thomas, Presiding officer of ICC, introduced the chief guest. Dr.I.Maria Yesuraja, member of ICC, welcomed the gathering and Dr. A. Vijaya Chitra, member of ICC, proposed the vote of thanks. Dr.P.S.Chandni, member of ICC, coordinated the programme. All the HoDs and Staff members of Sree Narayana Guru College participated in the programme.
