14th State Junior &Senior WUSHU Championship was jointly organised by Tamil Nadu WUSHU Association, Coimbatore District WUSHU Association & Kumaraguru College of Technology, and Coimbatore on 10th & 11th June, 2017. The tournament was inaugurated by Shankar Vanavarayar, Joint Correspondent, KCT on 10.06.17.
350 participants (Boys – 275 & Girls – 75) were participated from around 30 districts in Tamil Nadu. Tournament was categorised into Manquan Junior, Gianshu Senior, Chanquan Junior, Gunshu Senior, Sanshou (48 kg boys), senior boys below 65 kg, Senior Girls and junior girls below 52 kg. The first prize in each category will be selected for National Level tournament. Medal and certificate were distributed to the winners in each category. First prize, gold medal and certificate, second prize, silver medal and certificate and third prize, bronze medal and certificate.
