To create awareness about the agricultural sector, a three day Agri Fest is set to be organized from January 4th– 6th in the premises of Shri Shakthi Institute of Engineering and Technology run by S.Sengoda Gounder Educational Trust.
The event aims to showcase technological innovations in agricultural practises. The flag hoisting and inaugural ceremony of Agri Fest will take place on Jan 4th.
The Chief Guest on the occasion will be S. Narayanan, Vice-President, Marketing, Jain Irrigation Systems Ltd. The Guest of honour will be Sivarajah Ramanathan, Co-founder &CEO NativeLead.
Several breeds of country dogs such as Rajapalyam & Sippipaarai and types of fighter cock birds, fighter Rams (goats), horses will be exhibited at the festival.
The prize distribution function will be presided over by Karthikeya Sivasenapathy, Managing Trustee, Senaapathy Kangayam Cattle Research Foundation and prizes will be distributed by S. Thangavelu, Chairman, Shri Shakthi Institute of Engineering and Technology.
There will be eminent speakers in the likes of K.P Sudheer, Professor, IIT Chennai, Tamilselvi, Farmer, S.R.Sundararaman Iyer and Madhuramakrishnan (Natural Farmers) present during the fest.
The final day of the festival will have the rekla race. The special guests for this event will be the Rajkumar Arumugam, Director, Renaissance Power Products Pvt. Ltd.
