Sri Ramakrishna Engineering College, Coimbatore welcomed back over 100 alumni of class of 1999-2003 to the Alumni Reunion recently. Alumnus represented in large numbers from various departments of the 1999-2003 batches.
Association President J.S Shanthini, Mr.vasanth and representatives from Chennai and Bangalore chapter graced the occasion.
Principal/Patron N.R.Alamelu released the SREC Alumni Association magazine “Spotlight” and addressed the gathering. He felt proud about the alumni holding nice positions in various organizations and praised their contribution towards the development of their Alma Mater. He emphasized the members to shape its future through the Association’s programmes and Services.
The alumni honoured their faculty as a token of gratitude. The Fourth Batch of SREC (1998-2002) instituted an endowment of Rs.2,00,000 towards the alumni activities of the institution.
